My name is Bilin Nong, I'm a 4th year student at the University of Toronto (St. George) studying Computer Science, Quantitative Biology and Statistics!
With a growing skill set in Python, Java, R, Unix and SQL, I have participated in research evaluating the performance of missing data methods, interpreting the effects of genetic variants, and investigating the influence of global trending diseases on data science methodologies.
I've also worked on some fun projects, including developing a community safety web app and designing a learning management database.
Currently, I'm working as a Co-op Data Scientist at RBC, where I have been using Python and SQL to develop scalable project code for calculating financial emissions. Looking ahead, I hope to pursue graduate studies in Biostatistics.
