My name is Bilin Nong, I'm a junior year student at the University of Toronto (St. George) studying in Statistics!
With a growing skill set in Python, Java, R, Unix and SQL, I have participated in research comparing the performance of missing data methods, interpreting the effects of genetic variants, and investigating the influence of global trending diseases on data science methodologies.
I've also worked on some fun projects, including developing a community safety web app and designing a learning management database.
Currently, I'm working as a Co-op Data Scientist at RBC, where I have been using Python and SQL to develop scalable project code for calculating financial emissions. Besides, I'm learning to make cool data visualizations and studying Korean! Looking ahead, I hope to deepen my knowledge and use these skills to tackle more real-world problems.
